For more years than I can count, I had always dreamed of taking a vacation to Honolulu. Although the timing had never seemed to work out for me to get an opportunity to take a trip to Honolulu, all of that finally changed last year. I was online looking at Honolulu vacation packages, and although I honestly didn’t think that any of them would work for me, I accidentally stumbled across an amazing package. It seemed too good to be true, but when I compared the details of the package to my schedule, I realized that I was finally going to get the trip that I had always dreamed about.
In many situations, when you spend a lot of time dreaming about something, once you actually experience what you have been dreaming about, the reality of the experience doesn’t compare to the dream that you have had in your head. Fortunately for me, not only did my time in Honolulu compare to my dreams, but it actually exceeded them. I will cherish every moment of my time in Honolulu, and I really hope that I get to return to that wonderful place again someday.

Five months ago, I was lucky enough to take a ten day trip to Honolulu with my best friend. We grew up together, and even though we now live in different states, not only do we talk on a daily basis, but we make time to see each other at least three or four times a year. Although we usually travel to one another’s homes, we decided it would be fun to do something different and take a trip somewhere.
Our trip to Honolulu was quite amazing. Not only is Honolulu an amazing place for its climate and natural scenery, but it offers some of the best food that I have ever eaten. From great little places to grab breakfast to upscale dining establishments that would rival any location on the East Coast, we got to enjoy a lot of different food in Honolulu.
Since we went to so many different places in Honolulu, having a rental car was a big help. My best friend actually made our rental car reservation online, and she said that she got it for a really low rate by using Orbtiz to find which rental car company in Honolulu was offering the best rate.

I don’t have to tell you that Honolulu is an amazing place to take a vacation. Even if you have never visited Honolulu before, you have read enough and talked to enough people who have been to Honolulu to know that it is one of the best places in the world to take a vacation.
Don’t feel bad if you have never had an opportunity to take a trip to Honolulu. I had wanted to go for a long time, but it wasn’t until earlier this year that I finally got the chance to make my dream come true. Although I had waited a long time to visit Honolulu, it was well worth the wait. The seven days I spent in Hawaii exceeded everything that I had imagined (and believe me, I had spent a lot of time imagining what it was going to be like to visit Honolulu).
As I said earlier, if your dream Hawaii vacation hasn’t come true yet, don’t get down on yourself. Instead of focusing on the fact that you haven’t been yet, start thinking about what you need to do in order to go. Just a tip: once you do make it to Honolulu, make sure you get a car hire. Having a car hire in Honolulu will allow you to pack your entire trip from beginning to end with lots of fun!
