For most people, if you ask them about their top five vacation destinations (regardless of whether they have been there or simply want to go there), Honolulu is a place that will probably be included in the majority of those lists. Because it is such an amazing tropical destination, Honolulu is one of those places that almost anyone can fall in love with. Whether you are the active type that likes to get out and do things or simply want to relax and pamper yourself, Honolulu has something to offer for everyone.

I have been to Honolulu several times, and if my job ever gave me the opportunity, I would strongly consider moving there on a permanent basis. It’s a place I love, and even if I don’t get to move there, I will continue visiting it as much as possible.

Although some people might disagree, to get the most out of a trip to Honolulu, I really think it’s necessary to rent a car. From being able to drive to a place that serves the food you are craving to getting around and experiencing the nightlife, having a rental car while you’re in Honolulu is something I very strongly recommend.
